At the beginning of the year, the AASW organized a workshop on "Strategic Planning of Interest Protection" for the staff of the "Promotion of Social Inclusion and Livelihood Measures in Armenia" project. It was run by Tigran Petrosayan, who has much experience in the field of interest protection and has been in charge of interest protection and lobbying in public organizations for many years. At the start of the workshop, Tigran Petrosyan and the president of the Association of Social Workers of Armenia, Mira Antonyan, made a speech of welcome in which they presented the topic and its necessity for the effective work of specialists in the field.

During the workshop, the short-term and long-term perspectives of strategic planning were discussed. In addition, workshop attendees participated in practical group activities, during which the participants worked on various issues related to the protection of interests.

The purpose of the workshop was to bring together and clarify the main issues of the implementation of advocacy activities in the field, as well as to outline the need to introduce cooperation mechanisms in this field.
