In 2023 as dedicated social workers, we confronted an unprecedented challenge that tested the limits of our compassion and resilience. The influx of 100,000 refugees from Artsakh brought with it a wave of trauma and despair. In the face of such adversity, our social workers, social service and humanitarian workers, volunteers, and donors showed their unparalleled strength and unity.

Witnessing the displaced individuals in their traumatized state, we knew that our role transcended the conventional boundaries of social work and the ART of HELP. It became a mission of gratitude, a call to extend a helping hand to those who had lost not just their homes but also their sense of security and belonging, helping networks and their normal way of life...

The enormity of their pain underscored the significance of our work—welcoming them with open arms, providing empathy, and offering the support needed to rebuild shattered lives.

On this bright Christmas night, let us carry forward the lessons learned from our shared experience. Let us HELP based on our joint lessons learned not on standard planned projects...
