The Armenian Association of Social Workers (AASW), within the framework of the project “RISE – Armenia: Rehabilitation, Social Inclusion and Empowerment of Displaced and Vulnerable Population,” announces a call for applications for the formation of the team of the Ashtarak Multifunctional Social Care Service.

Position: Driver (using own vehicle, Ashtarak Multifunctional Social Care Service)
Project Title: “RISE – Armenia: Rehabilitation, Social Inclusion and Empowerment of Displaced and Vulnerable Population.”
Project Objective: To improve the social protection system in Armenia for vulnerable populations, including those displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, through strengthening the capacities of social workers and ensuring access to new social services, including patronage, social care, and socio-rehabilitation services.
Project Duration: November 2024 – November 2027

1. Scope and Purpose
To ensure the safe and timely transportation of service specialists and, when necessary, beneficiaries within the Ashtarak consolidated community, contributing to the effective and uninterrupted implementation of mobile services.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
2.1 Transportation of Specialists
- Provide transportation for social workers, psychologist, nurse, family mentor, and other specialists according to the approved schedule.
- Ensure timely arrival at home visits and community meeting locations.
- Coordinate with the Team Lead regarding route planning and scheduling.
2.2 Transportation of Beneficiaries (when required)
- Provide transportation for beneficiaries to access medical, social, or community services.
- Pay special attention to the safety of elderly persons, children, and persons with disabilities.
- Assist beneficiaries with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary (without providing medical assistance).
2.3 Vehicle Safety and Technical Condition
- Ensure that the vehicle is in proper technical condition and clean.
- Comply with traffic regulations at all times.
- Maintain valid mandatory motor insurance and technical inspection certificates.
- Keep records of fuel usage and travel routes as required.
2.4 Safety and Confidentiality
- Maintain confidentiality regarding beneficiaries and service-related information.
- Treat all beneficiaries with respect and neutrality.
- Act promptly and responsibly in emergency situations.
2.5 Other Responsibilities
- Participate in safety briefings organized by the service.
- Submit required reports regarding routes and completed trips.
- Perform other duties within the scope of the position.
3. Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (Category B).
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Ownership of a technically sound personal vehicle.
- Good knowledge of the Ashtarak community area.
- High level of responsibility and good communication skills.
