The AASW team in close collaboration with the Abovyan city hall and schools continues to awareness raising meetings among youth from 14 to 21. 

The awareness-raising campaign aims to inform local youth about the importance of making their voices heard in the local decision-making process. During the meetings are being touched such topics as forms of local participation and democratic process.

The participants also were familiarized with the objectives of the Project, planned activities, as well as the procedure for engagement in the Project. At the end of the meeting, the young people expressed their interest in being involved in the next stages of the Project.

The meetings will be ongoing to identify today's and tomorrow's community leaders.

The project is implemented with the support of the Local Initiatives Fund of the Canadian government and in cooperation with the Abovyan municipality.
