Social Work Hubs provide psychosocial and socio-economic support to displaced and vulnerable populations, promoting their social activation, psychological stability, and community inclusion. The Psychologist is responsible for providing mental health support to beneficiaries, addressing trauma-related challenges, and implementing interventions in collaboration with social workers.

The position is based in the following communities:
- Armavir (including Armavir and Vagharshapat communities)
- Hrazdan (Hrazdan consolidated community)
- Abovyan (Abovyan consolidated community)
- Masis (Masis consolidated community)

Position Objective
To provide psychological support to beneficiaries, contributing to their mental well-being, resilience, and social integration.
Scope of Responsibilities
Psychological Assessment and Support
- Conduct assessments of beneficiaries’ psychological needs
- Provide individual counseling sessions
- Deliver short-term supportive and guidance-based interventions
- Support beneficiaries in coping with stress, trauma, and crisis situations
Group Work and Psychological Empowerment
- Organize group sessions and psychological support groups
- Support the development of emotional regulation and communication skills
- Strengthen self-confidence and activation of internal resources
Trauma-Informed and Integrated Work
- Apply trauma-informed approaches
- Support social workers in case management processes
- Develop joint interventions combining social and psychological components
- Contribute to beneficiaries’ social activation through psychological support
Teamwork
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in case discussions and case conferences
- Provide professional assessments and recommendations
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain records of counseling sessions and interventions
- Ensure confidentiality of beneficiary data
- Prepare periodic reports
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation processes
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Higher education in Psychology
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including displaced persons, is an asset
- Experience in trauma and crisis intervention is an asset
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Computer literacy (MS Office and online tools)
- Excellent command of Armenian (knowledge of English is an asset)
