The Armenian Association of Social Workers invites qualified professionals to join the teams of its Social Work Hubs as Team Coordinators.

Within the framework of the programme, the Hubs provide psychosocial and socio-economic support to displaced and vulnerable populations, while also promoting their community inclusion. The Team Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the Hub’s multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective service delivery, smooth operations, and timely implementation of activities.

Locations:

The position is based in the following communities:

  • Armavir (including Armavir and Vagharshapat communities)
  • Hrazdan (Hrazdan consolidated community)
  • Abovyan (Abovyan consolidated community)
  • Masis (Masis consolidated community)

Contract Duration:

April 1 – December 30, 2026

Position Objective:

To ensure effective day-to-day coordination and operational management of the multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and continuous social services within the Hub.

Scope of Responsibilities

Operational and Team Coordination

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the multidisciplinary team (social workers, psychologist, and other specialists),
  • Develop and monitor work schedules, including home visits and group sessions,
  • Ensure timely implementation of planned activities and interventions,
  • Address operational issues and escalate complex cases to the Hub Supervisor when needed,
  • Ensure smooth and effective internal communication within the team.

Case Coordination and Service Implementation

  • Support the organization and follow-up of individual case management processes,
  • Monitor the implementation of Individual Intervention Plans, ensuring adherence to objectives and timelines,
  • Participate in case discussions and case conferences,
  • Ensure coordination between different types of services (including outreach/home-based and community-based services),
  • Facilitate referrals and follow up on service provision outcomes.

Service Coordination 

  • Coordinate services delivered within the Hub,
  • Monitor participation and engagement of beneficiaries,
  • Ensure that services are delivered in line with established standards and procedures,
  • Support the Supervisor in ensuring service accessibility and continuity.

Community and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Maintain communication with local self-government bodies, USS territorial social service centers, and other service providers,
  • Support the organization of coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders,
  • Maintain updated information on community resources and referral pathways.

Documentation, Reporting, and Data Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of service delivery activities,
  • Monitor proper case documentation by team members,
  • Prepare regular operational reports for the Hub Supervisor,
  • Support data collection and service performance monitoring processes,
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality principles.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support the Hub Supervisor in internal monitoring processes,
  • Participate in donor visits, coordination meetings, and evaluation processes when required,
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Higher education in Social Work, Management or relevant fields,
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in social services or community-based programmes,
  • At least 2 years of experience in team coordination or project implementation,
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including displaced persons, is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and basic data management tools)
  • Excellent command of Armenian (knowledge of English is an asset)
